We follow a comprehensive screening process to help ensure that every healthcare professional in our registry meets our standards for competence, professionalism, and patient safety.
Each applicant undergoes a personal interview, with work history and professional references reviewed and verified.
Clinical competency is evaluated through appropriate examinations and a skills inventory based on the applicant’s professional qualifications.
Professional licenses, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and other relevant credentials are verified before an associate is accepted into the registry.
A documented physical examination is completed to assess fitness for duty prior to deployment.
Every associate undergoes a background check as part of our commitment to client safety and peace of mind.
Before deployment, every associate completes a skills assessment and orientation to ensure familiarity with our standards, protocols, and expectations.

Yes.
Yes. We consider qualified applicants who are new to the profession or have limited experience. All applicants, regardless of experience level, must complete our screening, competency assessment, and required training before becoming eligible for registry membership and deployment.
BLS is absolutely required but IVT is not. If you have an IVT certification, even an expired one, you may present it to us.
After you submit your application, our recruitment team will review your documents and contact qualified applicants for the next steps in the screening process.
Applicants who proceed should expect to complete our interview, competency assessment, credential verification, physical examination, and background check. Successful applicants will then undergo the required orientation and skills assessment before becoming eligible for registry membership and deployment.
Yes, we do. You will be assessed during the interview and need to pass the assessments and physical exam. Please understand that we are a registry, and it is the client or the patient's family who decides whether to hire you for a case. Many of our associates are older than 50 and have been with us for years, so don't be discouraged.
Nightingale Healthcare Associates are members of our professional registry, not employees of Nightingale. As such, we do not issue a Certificate of Employment.
Instead, we can issue a Certificate of Registry Membership confirming your affiliation with Nightingale as a Healthcare Associate. This document has also been used by former associates as supporting documentation for applications and employment opportunities abroad.
